I just read 'your story', Chuck, it brought back some memories that I hadn't thought about in a long time. I'm glad you're doing well. I'm in the same boat, & doing far better than anyone expected. Thanks for putting a smile on my face. BTW, I had a major crush on you back in the day. Peace. 3:)

Chuck,
Thank you so much for being an early gay "icon". You wouldn't have known, but you were a big part in helping my dad accepting my brother's homosexuality. Styx has always been my dad's favorite band (and mine too!), and since that was the case, he was familiar with the history and with your story. Even though he's very conservative politically, I think knowing your story really helped him come around to my brother coming out. Thanks for being you and for being strong!

Hello Chuck, My name is Keith. I've been a fan since my middle teens in the middle 1970's. I'm still listening Styx to this day, and enjoy all variations of Styx's evolution. Band members come and go but the band moves on and evolves. And you guys have evolved. I loved Gowan as a solo artist and I was thrilled when you hired my countryman for your band. However, I've always seen you as the ground wire to the lightening rod that is Styx. Keep it up and keep the music coming. P.S. I live in Nelson, British Columbia Canada, and would love to see you guys here (or close by). Watch the movie "Roxanne" with Steve Martin. It was filmed in Nelson and thats what you miss if you don't come here. Also (side note) we got the herb that'll "legally" treat what ails ya. It's great! We're like Amsterdam, if it was everywhere north of the 49th. Enjoy, peace out. K

Hi Chuck, I have a museum-quality mounted and framed Epiphone guitar that was signed by you and the members of Styx in 2004. I picked it up at the Center on Halsted's Gay Games VII 100 Champions event in 2006 in Chicago, and guitar has "Gay Games VII" written on it, too. I love the band and grew up to your music. I'm thinking of donating the guitar back to the Center on Halsted for their Winter Gala. Might there be something you'd like to say about how it came to be part of the 2006 event, or what you might like the future owner of the guitar to know? A personal note from you would mean a lot! If you'd like to see a photo, let me know! Best to you always! LD Palm (member of the Director's Circle, Center on Halsted, and keyboard player)

Great to learn that you and The Guys are playing a prestigious gig at the London Palladium. I have secured my row B tickets and hoping for a sell out. It's going to be an amazing evening. Back in 1980 Styx, I believe, played 3 nights at The Hammersmith Odeon! Wishing you a great trip to the UK - your fans are grateful for the Band's efforts. Cheers.
