My 6yr old son had to play the STYX CD every night at bedtime. He's now 16. I've yet to get him to a live show. I missed the Rock to the Rescue concert sale. My son and I are estranged now. I wanted to share mine and my twin sisters story of drug addiction and redemption. My twin sister was a meth addict for 10 years. After years of her telling everyone she had it under control, she turned on me, her twin, her closest ally, her best friend! Our connection was severed. Desperately I searched for a way to reach her. In a panic one night I started writing a poem which turned into a song. I had a musician friend help me write the music and put it down on a 4 track, in her bedroom one night. I sent the song with lyrics to her praying this would wake her up!. It did and because I reached out to her, she is clean and sober. She realized she never had it "under control" and it was swallowing her life and her kids lives I wanted to share with you the song that changed all of our lives. Some where along the line we lost the second "z."
