What an inspirational story, Chuck. I've been a police officer, and a correctional officer for a combined 16 yrs, and have seen my share of the dreaded disease through many circumstances. You are not only an inspiration to me, but I'm 55 yrs. old, and have been a Styx fan since you guys started. Keep up the great work with your fight, and your great crusade against AIDS!

Just wanted to say your book was a real treat to read. I found so many things about you and Styx I may not never have known unless I read your book. Thank you for taking the time to write it.
P. S. I've even a long time Styx fan since 1982.

Hi Chuck! I just want you to know how much you touched my life. You have been an inspiration and rock n' roll idol since I got a copy of Cornerstone for Christmas when I was 8 years old. At 42, You still keep inspiring me through your strength, courage and the timeless music you have given us all. I love you for that and will always love you for what you continue to give to this world

I found out that I had melanoma (skin cancer), I had to wait to get the insurance to go thru & it took 7 long months for it to go thru. I had the surgery on Jan. 31st, 2012 & when I went back to see my dr. I was told that I would deal with numbness for 2 yrs. The numbness got so intense that I couldn't deal with it. The numbness hasn't left, even though its been over 2 years now. I have to do exercise daily. It changed my life though. I stay indoors now. I had 6 layers of tissue removed from my right forearm & the top layer from my right thigh to cover my right forearm. I'm doing better, but with other health issues that I have to live with. Thank You Very Much, Vicky

  Chuck

I pulled out my Styx albums tonight to relive some wonderful memories, as I used to listen to them with my son Chris when he was little, and now he has a band of his own in St. Paul, Minnesota called Narrow Vines. Last week, my wife and I had the pleasure of attending their cd release party at the Minnesota Music cafe, where the band blew the doors off the place when they played RENEGADE!! Narrow Vines are big fans of yours! Thanks for your inspiring story, and what you mean to our generation, as well as future generations. God bless you! Just another 'Renegade'

I readied your book and it was very moving. I had a cousin that died for Aids. And she was afraid to tell anyone. And it was to late when she went to the doctor. And I want to thank you for being there for people with this nasty disease. Thanks again. Love you guys
