Hey Chuck, just wanted to let you know how life changing your book has been. At 25 I grew up listening to Styx since I can remember. I remember when my dad and I discussed your announcement of HIV and that you were gay. It really sparked my interest in you and your life. I developed a great respect of toy and it has only grown with my age. I bought tickets that were supposed to be VIP but I am not sure if that means anything. I hour to see you in Abilene on March 3rd, and maybe my partner and I could meet you and get a my book signed! Take care and be strong!

Hi Chuck, I just emailed you at chuckcsp48@me.com but it was bounced back. We exchanged emailed last year. At any rate, I just saw an announcement that Styx is coming to the Fairground in Orange County. I would love to meet you in person! Also, I volunteer at ASF (AIDS Services Foundation of Orange County.) Perhaps I can give you a tour of the facility?

Hope to hear from you.

Joe

By the way , Chuck is an awesome bass player also but I have to speak as to how rediscovering John's drumming renewed my passion for Styx because that is all I know. May he rest in peace! He will live with me in my vinyl albums for as long as I can hear!

I grew up listening to Styx. "Lady " was my first "45" ( ha, remember those?). Styx became one of my favorite groups since then. I have all your albums and 45's still. I became a physician and now in my middle ages I decided to learn the drums and have been playing for 2 years. Eventhough I never lost my appreciation for music and especially Styx, I now listen to music differently, as I'm sure you do as well. I listen to the drummers and can now appreciate their talents. When I play your greatest hits on my iPod or bring out some of your old vinyl records I am blessed by not only being able to listen to one of my favorite groups of all time, but now I have the added bonus of listening with new appreciation to one of the greatest drummers. Your riffs on those old vinyl records are incredible and you have brought me many hours of joy listening to them again - thank you!
I wish you nothing but the best in all your endeavors and hope to see you on stage soon.
Alex T.

Great seeing you on stage. Light up was the first styx song I heard and have been hooked ever since. My buddy and I climbed a hill to see some old castle ruins in Germany carrying a boom box and a grand illusion tape so we could jamm to castle walls at the top.

Hi Chuck, Wishing you all the best always. My cousin, Brett and I are huge Styx fans. We actually met backstage when you played the Forum in LA during the Kilroy was Here Tour.(The only time I really was Star-Struck!) I got a taste of rock when I was Rick Chadock's tech for White Sister and Tatoo Rodeo. Unfortunately, we lost Rick to cancer on Oct. 15 last year.
Just wanted to tell you what a Class Act you are and how much I appreciate your music. I'll always remember how cool you and your brother were to me when we met.
Take Care, French
