Thank you for your contribution to the music world and to humanity. I have been a fan since the age of 5 and your bass playing is rock solid. I took your brothers interest and started playing drums at the age of 9. You and John were a GREAT influence and I still play your songs to this day. John is greatly missed and I appreciate all he did for the drumming community. My hat is tipped to you and the best rhythm section I have heard. Thank you for all the years of fascinating music and for being you. Take care and ENJOY!

I am a student at Chicago State University. I am the SGA President at Chicago State University. I was looking over recent alumni information and came across some information that you and your brother attended Chicago State. I would love to do a feature story about you for our future alumni publication and reach out to you for advice about becoming a success story from Chicago. Please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you in advance for reading my post to your guest book.

I am grateful for your story and so inspired. Loved & still watching videos of STYX (I'm 59) and was interested in the stage presence of such a great bassist. Glad I got to watch/hear you and follow up on your crusade (if you will)...more people need to learn from you. Thanks for your work on/off the stage :)

Hello Mr. Ponazzo, my brother made me pick a favorite rock band when I was nine years old, however, gave me only two options. He had me listen to Boston's first record & I originally chose them, but he insisted that I had to listen to a sampling of both bands. Upon hearing "Man In The Wilderness," my choice was clear. Anyway, I was just in Chicago on my way back from NYC and thought I saw you in the streets, but the guy who may have been you was all professional looking and I was wondering if you are doing any office work? Also, I left some of my art work at the HI Hostel on Congress Parkway between Clinton & {-? somewhere in the loop?-} I need you to see if they hung them up like they told me they would. Please let me know ASAP! Love always, -ptcm- Jameson Rising, Inc. P.S. On my way in downtown Des Moines to play a little guitar/sing in the streets for the people & will include "Man In The Wilderness." I am still working on learning "Boat On The River," and "The Grove Of Eglantine." God bless you Chuck!!!

Will be attending the July 4 Styx gig at Red, White and Blue Ash in Ohio. Hoped to get my Grand Illusion LP cover signed by you, Tommy Shaw and James Young. The only meet and greet possibilities are through radio station promotions. Is the a way to get the cover signed on Independence Day?
