Thanks for everything, Chuck! As probably one of the first STYX 'tribute' bands in the 70's, I need to thank you for your creativity and originality...without which, I'd have been missing an important role model. God bless you and keep you!

I have survived with HIV for over twenty years now and salute you. I was 12 years old and the Kilroy tour was my very first concert. I quickly gathered Pieces of Eight, Grand Illusion, Crystal Ball, and the remainder of the Styx collection. While primarily a keyboard player, I recently bought a bass guitar. Can't wait to learn it better and hope I can pull off a live performance at the Steampunk Festival in Avondale Estates this June... but I better get to practicing! BTW... I had an enormous crush on you after seeing Kilroy. Thanks for coming out and being honest about HIV. It's a lonely place sometimes when your peers prefer to play "don't ask don't tell" about HIV in the bedroom. Again, I salute you.

Hey, Chuck! Just a quick note to say that I've been a STYX fan for years, and I love the way you play bass. Some of my earliest musical memories are of listening to you guys after school at my friends house in Victoria, B.C, Canada in 1978-79 (they had a BITCHIN' stereo, way better than ours)! I really hope you're happy and content with your life, musically and otherwise.

You or your brother had a childhood friend who became a Franciscan brother and maybe a priest named Al. Can you help me locate him?

Hi Chuck, I never knew the whole story until reading your story. You hear so much rumour and innuendo it's ridiculous. Nevertheless, I truly don't know what I am but I wish you the best in all that you see and do. I am so glad that you came out and did'nt hide it.

Hi Chuck, I have been a fan since Grand Illusion came out. I would like to see a section about your art and one about the equipment you have used and are using. Take care of yourself, you are respected and the world needs more people like you.
Warmest Regards, David

Thank you Chuck for all the great music!! I'm especially proud of you for being out. I've been a Styx fan for years, and I'm glad you are able to be out and honest about who you are. I'm a trans woman, and being out was a difficult transition. Today I wouldn't go back if you paid me a million dollars. Thank you for being you!!! Huggggggsssssssss!

What an inspiration! I am a gay male who was a (and still am) HUGE fan of Styx! I am especially fond of "Lady" from their days on the Wooden Nickel but will always have an especially soft spot for the Cornerstone lp. Thanks for sharing your story. Keep well. Stay strong. Be happy!
