  I have always loved your music. As a young person during the 70's and 80's, I always felt like it was speaking directly to me, and it seemed like whatever situation I was in, some Styx song would cover it and make me feel better. I was born in the Chicago area, and I think that you may have taught at the high school I would have gone to, had my family stayed in that area. At what high school did you teach? And thanks again for being such a memorable part of my life!

  I remember when my brother first played "Cornerstone" when we were both pre-teens. Styx has been part of the soundtrack of my life since I was old enough to enjoy music.

I've seen the band twice in concert; once this last Monday, and in 1991 for the Edge of the Century tour in Cleveland. My Mom is a Social Worker in Cleveland and spent the majority of her career working with HIV/AIDS patients. I now live in Seattle where I have many gay friends and I am so thankful to live in an open and accepting area. I am always thankful for celebrities who open up and share their stories and struggles for the youth of today. So all I can do is say "thanks" and hope you continue to live the life you want to have and advocate about this horrific disease. Best of luck, I hope to see you again in the future. -Kristen

  I just finished reading your book "The Grand Illusion". Thank you for a very moving journey through periods of time I could relate to. This is a book I will recommend many people read.

  Hi,
I am the mom to a 20 year old HIV positive son...I struggle daily with this awful disease, but not just for my son, but everyone it affects...I lost an Uncle to AIDS 18 years ago and now I am facing this again. I ride for ALC for everyone to get treatment that cannot afford it...my son is no different than anyone else as I don't care how anyone contracted HIV...all I care about is that we find a cure..until then...just always looking for a listening ear or some support...I love my son and my heart breaks for every mom, daughter, sister, brother and the like and all of those living with HIV...any words of encouragement would be so greatly appreciated ;) Be well...

  I have seen more than 25 Styx shows over the years and when you're there, they are that much more special! I had the priviledge of seeing you perform in OKC and KC in May and June this year. Thank you so much!
