  Hi Chuck, I was just listening to "Fooling Yourself" one of my favorite and most inspirational songs. I'm a 32 year-old gay man in Portland, OR. I never knew much about Styx except that I liked the songs but today I did a little more research and found your story. You are an inspiration! :)

  Saw you last night in Lincoln, CA. The highlight of the show for me was seeing you there. I was born on the NW side of Chicago in 1959. It was even a bigger pleasure to see Styx with my son (22) at my side. It was his 3rd time. I posted videos of the concert on my YouTube page - ynotag91. Thanks again.

  Chuck, I want us to meet in person. While reading your book, I kept wanting to mark things that would be interesting for us to talk about: forced retirement, being closeted in a band, many more. Self education too: I just got my 3rd scuba card in Fort Lauderdale, and I wasn't planning on being back soon (I'm in Atlanta), but to meet you, I'll try! Hope to hear from you.

  Hi Chuck, I'm reading The Grand Illusion and enjoying it very much. In one part you say could you imagine Gene Simmons or Ozzy Osbourne as your homeroom teacher, Gene Simmons was a teacher in New York for about 6 months.
