My daughter and I saw you perform in Spartanburg SC tonight 4/15/10. It was great. It just wasn't Styx until you came on stage. Loved the red shoes.

You ARE an inspiration. I've been a styx fan since i was maybe 8 (lol) and HIV positive since i was 24. Reading your story brought tears to my eyes. It also gave me hope. Thanks.

I have the privilege of owning all Styx albums(and eight tracks--I am dating myself :)), with "Pieces of Eight" and "Grand Illusion" being my two favorites. Also, I have had the privilege of seeing Styx in concert with all original members, including with your brother. I remember for some strange reason of being quite enamored with you when I was about 9-10 years old, in 1978. Little did I know that I too was gay. In 2002, I was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, contemplated suicide because my partner at the time left me as did many of my friends with the exception of one. I found old copies of HIV related magazines and found an article on you and I immediately became inspired and determined not to let this disease control my life. I would certainly enjoy meeting you sometime.
